Holiday Soaps

This weekend I made up some holiday scented soaps. I can not even tell you how excited I am about them. I did use fragrance oils, I would rather have used essential oils but it is the holidays and I really wanted some festive smelling soaps for gift giving.

First I made a delightfully delicious gingerbread soap. I have a feeling this will be a hit with the kids. It instantly took me back to baking with my grandma. My only regret is not coloring this one. It would have been even more lovely if it looked like gingerbread.

Next I made some Jack Frost soap. This is for all those men who enjoy a nice bar of handmade soap but would rather it didn't smell like "girl".  This scent is described as "sweet juices of brambling wildberries cascading over green pine needles". Unfortunately his oil is discontinued and I have use the last of what I have. It was hard to use those last few drops but I knowing you all will get enjoyment out of it made it a bit easier to part with.

I also mixed up some Frankincense & Myrrh soap. Described as "cauldrons of pure frankincense and myrhh powder simmering together, sweetened with delicate nuances of sandalwood and vanilla!" This is also well suited for the men in your life.

Look for these soaps to be stocking soon at both Fresh and The Tree of Life.
